Beyoncé brought us back to the dance floor this summer with her new single, “Break My Soul,” which features an infectious hook reminiscent of Robin S’s 1993 dance anthem “Show Me Love.”
After the release, Robin S joined the Good Morning Britain crew to talk about Bey’s reference to her hit song and how sweet she found out about it. “My son called me and said, ‘Mom, mom. You’re trending everywhere,’” she said. “You know Beyoncé released her song and it’s ‘Show Me Love,’ and you’re trending everywhere.”

And of course Robin S would love to combine her girl power and work with Queen Bey in the future. “Maybe we can do a collaboration together? You know, that’s always the dream,” she shared. I can’t even. just wow Thank you very much.”
He concluded with a heartfelt message to Bey, Jay-Z and the couple’s team for the flowers they sent him. “This is Robin S and this message goes out to Queen B herself, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, the whole team,” she said. “Thank you so much for giving me my flowers while I’m still alive. I am honored and excited to see what else can happen.”
“Break My Soul” will appear on Beyoncé’s upcoming album Renaissance, which is due out on July 29. Renaissance is the follow-up to 2016’s Lemonade LP, Beyoncé’s sixth consecutive Billboard 200 chart topper. Based on people close to the recording, the new LP has country and dancefloor elements, the latter confirmed by the new single.
